About the The Round

The Round is the City of Whitehorse’s brand new performance and function centre, in Nunawading. It features a 580-seat state-of-the-art theatre, a 203-seat flexible studio, and function spaces catering for anything from small groups to 350 people. This venue is Babirra Music Theatre’s new home from June 2024.

Getting There

The Round is located at 379 to 399 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading, 3131, behind the Whitehorse Civic Centre.

The Round Bar offers a wide range of drinks and snacks, and is open 1 hour before all performances.

ON A TRAIN

The Round is less than 1km from the Nunawading train station (Belgrave and Lilydale lines), an easy 10-minute walk.

Parking Options

There is ample free parking on-site, including a brand new double-story parking area in the north-east corner of the site. All areas within The Round and the adjacent car parks are fully wheelchair accessible.
